Zacapa 23 is crafted using an adapted Sustema Solera ageing process whereby rums of different ages and personalities are blended and matured in a series of casks previously used to store robust American whiskies, delicate sherries & fine Pedro Ximenez wines. The finalised liquid contains a blend of rums from 6 to 23 years old.
The complex Solera ageing process exciting intricacies in this rum with its honey, butterscotch, spiced oak and raisined fruit flavours. Perfect to serve in a fine crystal tumbler and chill over one large ice cube.
